Roger Federer hints at his impending retirement, saying tennis is no longer so necessary for his life.

In the past decade, Federer has lifted cups only three times at Grand Slams, twice at the Australian Open and once at Wimbledon.
Federer said that taking a long-term break helps him balance his life, fulfilling long-cherished plans, such as trips, charity projects, visiting friends and taking care of his wife and children.
“I can do whatever I want with my current time fund” Federer said.
“In the past, I rarely brought my family on tours. I’m experiencing life in a more peaceful way.”
Federer confirmed last month that he would attend the Basel Open in October.
This is an event in his home country, familiar to Federer since he was a ball boy.
