Sleep is extremely important for human health, especially people entering the aging stage like middle-aged people.
Study co-author Barbara Sahakian, DSc in psychiatry at the University of Cambridge, said: “Having a good night’s sleep is the most important of all ways to restore people’s health.
Finding ways to improve sleep for older adults will help them maintain good mental health and avoid cognitive decline, especially for patients with mental disorders and dementia.”
Whether or not our mind functions sharply depends on the mode of work, eating, rest, relaxation.
A study published in the journal Nature Aging said scientists examined 500,000 adults between the ages of 38 and 73 in the UK to see their sleep mechanisms.
The test results were extremely unexpected.
