  • Ford will cut about 3,000 jobs, aiming to produce electric cars
  • Elon Musk is approaching and considering “a potential investment” in the company that develops the Synchron neural technology solution.

Ford previously announced plans to spend $50 billion on electric vehicle production by 2026, and has set a goal of cutting costs for the production of traditional cars, with a cut of up to $3 billion per year.

As electric car maker Tesla and other electric vehicle startups are boosting their EV product position in the market, traditional automakers have struggled to keep up with the trend, as many have decided to speed up product electrification in recent years.
