F1- Russell is disappointed with defending Perez

Russell is disappointed with defending Perez: “The rules are clear”

The result achieved in Le Castellet can therefore appeal to Russell, although he had to acknowledge his superior in teammate Hamilton and winner Max Verstappen.

However, it was not an easy race with temperatures well above 30 degrees Celsius and an asphalt temperature of about 55 degrees.

“I’m sweating a lot and honestly I’m pretty broken, it was a long and tough race,” Russell acknowledged.

“The speed was good, but we had a hard time warming up the tyres on the restart.

That really put Checo on top of it, but I was happy to see the checkered flag and cross the finish line in third place.”

Mercedes recorded the first double podium finish of the 2022 season during the French Grand Prix.
