The head coach of the Spanish national football team Luis Enrique sent to the country’s football federation an expanded list of 55 players to participate in the World Cup in Qatar.
The entire list is not disclosed, but it is known that manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is not among the goalkeepers.
Goalkeepers Unai Simon (Athletic Bilbao), David Raya (Brentford), Robert Sanchez (Brighton), Kepa Arrizabalaga (Chelsea) and David Soria (Getafe) were included in the expanded squad.
At the same time, the first three are considered the main candidates for a trip to Qatar.
In addition to goalkeepers, it is known that Sergio Ramos (PSG), Jordi Alba (Barcelona), Jose Luis Gaia (Valencia) and strikers Borja Iglesias (Betis), Iago Aspas (Celta), Ansu Fati (Barcelona) got into the extended list of defenders.
