Gazprom confirmed the decommissioning of the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline from 4 a.m. on Aug. 31 to 4 a.m. on Sept. 3 (Moscow time).

After the work is carried out together with Siemens specialists (Germany), gas transportation will continue to be carried out according to august levels if technical problems of the engine are not detected.

Since July 27, Gazprom has reduced supply through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline to 20% of capacity, citing problems in repairing Siemens turbines due to Canadian sanctions.
