China develops nanomaterials to prevent SARS-CoV-2 virus

The study shows the potential of CIPS to be a safe and effective COVID-19 treatment nanomedicine as well as a decontamination agent and surface covering material to reduce the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Chinese scientists have developed a nanomaterial capable of fighting the SARS-CoV-2 virus and its variants, while accelerating the process of killing the virus that causes COVID-19.

Scientists from the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology of China and institutes affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), including the Shenzhen Institute of Modern Technology, the Institute of High Energy Physics and the Kunming Institute of Zoology, have developed a nanomaterial against the SARS-CoV-2 virus and its antiviral mechanism.
