Facebook boss Zuckerberg: ‘Every morning I wake up like I’ve been punched in the stomach’
In fact, Zuckerberg’s face at that time appeared in a series of memes, being compared to the character Data in the movie Star Trek.
In response, Meta’s CEO laughed, repeated the old gesture, and said,
“If you’re in the Senate for 6-7 hours, you’re going to create loads of facial expressions that are worth making memes.”
He also revealed the company is making new VR smart glasses, which are scheduled to launch in October at the Connect VR conference.
The new glasses will feature more advanced face and eye tracking, which can quickly recognize expressions to perform specific actions.
While Zuckerberg didn’t mention the name and price of the VR headset, CNBC predicted it could be a previously leaked Project Cambria model.
The glasses can cost at least $800, which is higher than the VR Quest 2 model that’s selling for $399.
Mark Zuckerberg admits he doesn’t like starting his day as CEO of Meta, Facebook’s parent company.
“Almost every day, you wake up feeling punched in the stomach,” Zuckerberg said on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast on Aug. 25.
