Tencent continues to top the top 100 most valuable brands in China
Doreen Wang, CEO of Kantar Greater China, said strong brands have the potential to effectively “withstand” the impact of tough economic times, arguing that Chinese brands should embrace the concept of sustainable development, while improving their capacity to innovate across the chain.
The total value of China’s top 100 brands reached $1.24 trillion in 2022, with Tencent coming in at number one for two consecutive years, with a brand value of $204.4 billion.
According to a report published by international market research firm Kantar on August 25, the total value of China’s top 100 brands exceeded $1 trillion for the second year in a row and reached $1.24 trillion in 2022.
