U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price said on Aug. 22 that Washington was “deeply concerned” by the recent outbreak of violence along Syria’s northern border with Turkey that killed at least 21 civilians.
Price added that the U.S. condemns civilian casualties in “Al-Bab, Hasakah and elsewhere” areas, and called on all sides to maintain ceasefire boundaries.
