According to a Defense Ministry source in the Bangkok Post, Prime Minister and Defense Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will meet with top military officials later this month to discuss the upcoming annual overhaul, which will appoint new naval and air force chiefs.

The source said the meeting would be attended by the commander of the three services and deputy defense minister, but could have to be postponed or chaired by Deputy Defense Minister Chaichan Changmongkol if the Constitutional Court decides to suspend Prayut pending a ruling on the leader’s term limits.
