In a letter of condolence to the Dugins on Aug. 22, Russian President Vladimir Putin slammed the assassination as a “cruel and dangerous” crime.
The Russian leader also praised Dugina for her “dedication to serving the people and the fatherland, proving patriotism through her deeds.”
Putin also awarded Dugina the Order of Courage, one of Russia’s highest.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says he will not tolerate those behind the assassination of the daughter of thinker Alexander Dugin.
President Vladimir Putin also criticized the incident.
