China announces successful launch into new satellite orbit

This is the 16th launch of China’s Hezhou-1A booster.
The launch of the Hezhou-1A booster was carried out at 10:36 a.m. on August 23 (local time) at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province.
On August 23, the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC) announced that it had successfully launched into orbit the Xinjin-16 satellite developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
On social media, CASIC stated that the launch of the Xichang-1A booster satellite was carried out at 10:36 am on August 23 (local time) at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan province.
The satellite entered its expected orbit shortly after launch.
