Hot fusion reactors nearly a billion degrees Celsius

To date, TAE has raised a total of $1.2 billion in investment capital for the commercial fusion furnace development phase.

The company aims to provide long-term solutions to the rapidly growing electricity demand in the world.

Due to its zero carbon and fine dust emissions, TAE’s safe approach minimizes any negative impact on the environment or climate change.

The company’s newest investors include Chevron, Google, Reimagined Ventures, Sumitomo Corporation of Americas, and TIFF Investment Management.

TAE Technologies’ new hydrogen-boron-fueled fusion reactor will reach temperatures of nearly one billion degrees Celsius once completed.

TAE Technologies on 12/8 announced that the company has attracted enough investment capital for the construction of the next research reactor called Copernicus.

Earlier, TAE reached temperatures of more than 75 million degrees Celsius and demonstrated real-time plasma control with an advanced fusion reactor design called Norman.

As a pioneer in the field of hydrogen-boron fusion, the non-radioactive method used by TAE is the fastest, most feasible and efficient way to supply the network with large amounts of electricity.
