The Liverpool captain said he did not understand how Barca could get money to recruit a series of new recruits in the summer of 2022.
“First of all, I’m not a financial analyst, so I don’t understand what happened. If I said I didn’t have any money, I wouldn’t buy anything.
I have experienced this twice in the past,” manager Jurgen Klopp replied when asked by reporters to comment on Barca’s transfer in the summer of 2022.
“As a football fan, I can’t understand how Barcelona bought new recruits.
Anyway, I see Barca playing excellently over the last few decades, hopefully they will succeed,” the German strategist added.
