American-Scottish comedian Jerry Sadowitz, 61, has been cancelled after performing controversial material at the Fringe comedian festival in Edinburgh.
The show was titled “Jerry Sadowitz: Not for Anyone” and even issued a warning about “strong language and themes that can upset.”
Sadowitz only had time to perform his material on Friday, tweeting the next day:
“Did a show yesterday, 75 minutes, thought it went well. Didn’t see anyone go out.
Today I have learned that the show is cancelled. Top. I’m really sorry for those who traveled to see tonight’s performance.”
It has been claimed that he used a “racist expression” and showed his penis to a spectator in the audience.
