Many scientists believe that Pro PSA belongs to the physical foreshadowing of PSA and is one of the 3 common components that make up free PSA.
Currently, the role of Pro PSA is being further elucidated and this test is still at the stage of research, testing, not officially applied in some countries.
The PSA protein is expected by the medical community to overcome some of the limitations of the PSA test in determining the risk and extent of prostate cancer.
