This is the second time medical experts have detected the Marburg virus.

The first case was reported in Guinea last year.

WHO has identified more than 90 close contacts, including health workers and friends and relatives of patients.

WHO reported two deaths after testing positive for Marburg in southern Ashanti, Ghana, on July 18.

Both patients were men. The first was 26 years old, hospitalized and died on June 26.

The second, 51, died on June 28.
