Marc Márquez receives the green light to begin his rehabilitation
The date of return to competition of the #93 remains to be defined but Alberto Puig, his boss within the Honda team, expects him to attend races as an observer this summer, which had not been possible in 2020 due to the health protocol in force in the paddock.
It has now been six weeks since Marc Márquez underwent surgery for his right humerus for the fourth time.
Since this intervention to restore the fractured bone to the right axis nearly two years ago, the pilot’s arm remained largely immobilized, only passive movements being allowed.
A medical check-up carried out this week at the Ruber Internacional Hospital in Madrid gave him the green light to really start the rehabilitation process, as the bone is now sufficiently consolidated.
