Who is Christophe Galtier, the one chosen to be the new PSG coach
Christophe Galtier was born on August 23, 1966 (55 years old) in Marseille.
During his time as a professional footballer, he served as a defender and played in different French teams, such as Olympique de Marseille, Lille, Toulouse, Angers and Nimes, and in foreign teams, such as Monza of Italy and Liaoning of China, where he retired in 1999.
Only a while after hanging up his booties, he added experience as an aide-de-camp.
In fact, he was a collaborator in eight casts before taking the step and becoming coach:second coach in Marseille (1999-2001), Aris Thessaloniki of Greece (2001-2002), Bastia (2002-2004), Al-Ain of the United Arab Emirates (2004), Portsmouth of England (2005), Sochaux (2006-2007), Lyon (2007-2008) and Saint-Étienne (2008-2009).
On December 15, 2009, he was announced as the new coach of Saint-Étienne replacing Alain Perrin, whom he accompanied as an assistant in different institutions.
