On Friday morning, the ninth caravan of Latin American migrants departed from the city of Tapachula, it is estimated that around 3,000 people are those who managed to reach the municipality of Huixtla.

There they hope to negotiate with the authorities of the National Institute of Migration, the delivery of humanitarian visas.

The migrants were encouraged by a group of Venezuelans who said they were part of the resistance in their country and who seek to reach the state of Nuevo León – and later the United States – who hope that the authorities will give them free transit, in order to continue to their destination.

With the “Yes, it could!!! Yes, it was possible!!!”, the migrants managed to cross the Viva México immigration checkpoint, located 3 kilometers from the city of Tapachula.

The foreigners passed in front of the elements of the National Guard and the personnel of the INM, holding their arms.

Meanwhile, the uniformed men could not do anything, they just observed.
